You know how Catholics start confession by telling the priest how many days it has been since their last confession? Well, that is what I feel like I should be doing right now. No, I did not forget about blogging, it has just been a little crazy, and as little Laila grows older she requires a lot more attention. So as I get busy with sessions, then editing/retouching in the evening after she goes to bed, I am left with little room for much else- especially when I get up at 4:30am. Yeah, I know that is absurd, but it does a body good. Kinda like MILK, only with weights.
So here is Mr. Eli, a boy dear to my heart. His baby blues are identical to his daddy’s, and his sweet smile as big as his mommy’s. I have followed him throughout his journey from bump, through newborn, and up to his big boy milestone of ONE YEAR OLD!!!! I am blessed to have his mother, Anna, as a close friend that lives just around the corner. We’ve been friends since middle school: maybe our children will follow in our footsteps, only start a tad earlier. After all, they are only 2 months apart. So enjoy his teeny birthday smash bash we gave him a little earlier than actual birthday. Just enough time to rush a display print for his party!
